✅ Monthly Medical Support

We currently provide monthly financial assistance to:

• Dialysis patients

• Palliative care patients

• Orphans and children in need of regular medications

• Families struggling with chronic illnesses

Crisis Response Projects

🌊 2018 Kerala Flood Relief

• Distributed essential household items and food kits to flood-affected families in Palakkad district and nearby areas.

• Delivered food and grocery kits to families in quarantine and containment zones.

• Provided masks, sanitizers, and basic medicines to vulnerable individuals.

Since our inception, Changathikkoottam Charitable Trust has extended one-time and short-term support to individuals and families facing medical, financial, and life-event-related crises. We’ve supported over a dozen individuals for medical needs ranging from cancer treatment to surgeries and long-term care:

• Funded thyroid, TB, and cancer treatments by paying hospitals directly or reimbursing family expenses.

• Assisted dialysis patients with monthly payments to treatment centers.

• Provided travel and living support to families undergoing long hospital treatments.

• Ongoing aid to autistic children and patients with chronic conditions.

“One elderly woman received funds for thyroid surgery, covered in three hospital-issued cheques. A breast cancer patient received monthly aid over 9 months to help with treatment and personal expenses.”​

💡 How Projects Are Chosen and Executed

At Changathikkoottam Charitable Trust, we believe that charity must be guided by responsibility, transparency, and human connection. That’s why we follow a structured, community-driven approach for selecting and executing every project.

📝 How We Receive Applications

Requests for assistance reach us through:

Each request is treated with confidentiality and care.

🔍 Field Verification Process

Once we receive a preliminary application, our onsite team personally visits the applicant or their family. During the visit:

• A detailed assessment is carried out

• The team collects required information, verifies the situation, and fills it into our internal assessment forms

• These completed forms are submitted to the Trustees’ Meeting for further review and final decision

This extra step ensures that every project is genuine, well-documented, and deserving, helping us use funds wisely and responsibly.
