In 1986, we were just a group of classmates walking the dusty paths of Chalavara High School, dreaming big and laughing loud. Thirty-five years later, life brought us back together—not just to reminisce, but to give back.

 

When we reunited in 2018, we were heartbroken to learn that five of our dear friends were no longer with us. That moment of reflection became our call to action. We decided to form Changathikkoottam Charitable Trust—a heartfelt effort to remain connected through kindness and to support people in our hometown and surrounding areas who are struggling with poverty, illness, and hardship.

 

Since then, we have stood by individuals and families—funding medical treatments, supporting dialysis and palliative care patients, helping orphans with medication needs, and offering monthly financial assistance to those without a steady income. We’ve also supported families during weddings and other major life events.

 

In times of crisis, we didn’t stand back—we stepped forward.

During the 2018 Kerala floods, we distributed essential supplies to affected families.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we delivered food kits and daily necessities to those hit hardest.

 

Every act of service we offer is powered by the contributions of our group of friends and our families. Our journey started with friendship—but today, it is fueled by purpose. Together, we’re proving that lasting connections can truly create lasting change.
